Happy New Year, Monocle Band family!
How we've missed you... Since we last wrote we took a little time off to attend to other aspects of our lives, celebrated the beautiful wedding of our lead singer Monica, wrote a bunch of new tunes, and changed up our lineup to take our sound to the next level. Now...it's time to get back to the joy and business of making live music!! We can't wait to share and dance with you again.
We'll be kicking off the new year at Oskar Blues in Lyons on Saturday January 16. Joining us will be Amy Shelley on drums, Dave Weinand on upright bass, and Ben Lewis on violin. This lineup is going to be hot!
Then, we're back in Lyons at High Street Concerts on Saturday, January 30. We'll be playing with our great friends Masontown. If you're a High Street Concert veteran or haven't been to one of their shows yet, this is an event you don't want to miss. We'll be playing in a fantastic listening room and magic will be in the air.
